限壓閥與機(jī)油泵油路并聯(lián)，其作用是調(diào)節(jié)、控制主油道的機(jī)油壓力。為了保證發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)正常工作，主油道的油壓必須適當(dāng)，通過(guò)機(jī)油泵限壓閥能調(diào)節(jié)主油道的機(jī)油壓力。當(dāng)發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)轉(zhuǎn)速增高或機(jī)油稠度變大時(shí)，機(jī)油壓力就會(huì)增高。此時(shí)限壓閥自動(dòng)開(kāi)啟，通過(guò)機(jī)油泵回油(即機(jī)油泵出油口的機(jī)油經(jīng)限壓閥流向進(jìn)油口)，能控制主油道的油壓。旁通閥并聯(lián)在機(jī)油粗濾器上，其作用是當(dāng)濾清器使用的時(shí)間超過(guò)了更換期之后，紙濾芯被污垢或異物嚴(yán)重堵塞，循環(huán)油不能通過(guò)濾芯時(shí)，為了防止出現(xiàn)潤(rùn)滑系統(tǒng)供油中斷，機(jī)油粗濾器上旁通閥自動(dòng)開(kāi)啟，機(jī)油經(jīng)旁通閥直接流入主油道，這樣發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)壓力潤(rùn)滑部分不會(huì)出現(xiàn)斷油的現(xiàn)象。

At this time, the pressure limiting valve automatically opens, and the oil pressure in the main oil passage can be controlled through the oil pump return (i.e., the oil from the oil pump outlet flows through the pressure limiting valve to the oil inlet). The bypass valve is connected in parallel to the oil coarse filter. Its function is to prevent the interruption of lubrication system oil supply when the paper filter element is severely blocked by dirt or foreign objects after the filter has been used for more than the replacement period. In order to prevent the interruption of lubrication system oil supply, the bypass valve on the oil coarse filter automatically opens, and the oil flows directly into the main oil passage through the bypass valve. This way, the pressure lubrication part of the engine will not experience oil interruption.
